An observational event was organized by Amateurs Astronomers Association of Vadodara (AAAV) at Akshar Public School in Bhayali, Vadodara on 7th February 2025. The team of AAAV, led by head Mr. Bhargav Joshi with members Dr. Atman Desai and Mr. Prakash Khatri, showed Moon to school students and teachers. There were total 1500 school students accompanied by teachers and principal of the school. The teachers and students enquired about Moon and planets and were curious to see Moon through telescope. The students were excited to see craters of Moon.
The team of AAAV gave basic understanding of Moon and planets to students and teachers. The questions related to rotation of Moon around Earth, phrases of Moon and origin of Moon were answered by AAAV team. The students cherished the observation and felt enthusiastic after watching the Moon. The two telescopes of 5 inch were used for observation. Principal of the school, thanked AAAV for the event and showed interest to organize more events of sky observation with students.
